Most memorable gastronomic experience would have to be this late Saturday lunch at The Taj West End (Bangalore), on the garden concluding with a set of musician’s performing at the table.
I met my food wife in Tokyo; discovering tonkotsu in ippudu roppongi, shirako in nishiazabu, yakitori in higashishinjuku, sui-gyoza in omotesando and sapporo with otsumami in any local izakaya. one day i’ll return to her…

Stumbling across a farmhouse kitchen in Croatia whilst driving through the countryside. There was no menu, the owner recited what he had caught in his field/forest that day and how he was going to cook it. It was also in the height of truffle season so it was impossible to avoid this ingredient;-) Was an absolute lucky gem to find and every morsel was seasonal, delicious and memorable.
Fingers crossed!

Celebrating my 30th with a Banoffee Pie, made by my husband who has never baked anything in his life (he never had to, i’m a pastry chef). It wasn’t the best pie I have ever tasted but certainly the sweetest and most memorable.

I got the chance to ride in an 18 wheeler with a truck driver and it was in the rain and this lady was driving slow in the rain so the truck driver got into the fast lane and all of a suden the lady came over in front of him (some feet) and it literally scared the crap out of both of us because he could not slow the truck down like you slow down a car. It takes so much more time. It was horrifying

I turned from a staunch vegetarian into a crazy carnivore over 3 days spent in Tasmania, Australia. From delicious venison to smoked salmon and truffles, I have never eaten so well! And not the slightest bit guilty, kindof…
Must be the dinner in the hills south of Rome. The restaurant was so outraged by my manners – eating the salad WITH the main meal as opposed to eating it on its own – that he asked everyone to shut up and listen. Then, he reprimanded me publicly. I’ll never forget the lesson, nor the meal.

It would be the meals i had in Bali as they were all home grown and made the old fashioned way. Babi Gulings which were grilled for hours in woodfire and an organic menu in front of vegetables patches in Sari. The orgasmic food experience was also a feast for the eyes and senses.
